There are bars and restaurants 2 minutes walk away from the property. In close proximity there are four 18 hole championship golf courses with a further golf course to built literally 2 minutes walk to the entrance away from the apartment.
The apartment is a two bedroom two bathroom penthouse apartment with sunroof/solarium and terrace. West facing end of block R1 in the recently completed final phase of Dream Hills II in Los Altos, Torrevieja overlooking the swimming pool and grassed communal area. The sun rises from the East where the rear of the property and pool area has the sun most of the day. During the evening the sun sets in the West. Where you be able to chill out and watch the glorious sunsets. From the sunroof/solarium you have unrestricted panoramic views of the salt lakes to the east and the mountain range to the west. As the apartment is semi detached end of block no one is joined at the rear or the side which will allow you total peace and privacy.
The communal pool area is key access and is only seconds walk away so there is no problem in cooling off or relaxing by the pool. The sunroof/solarium has a gazebo, sun lounges, table and chairs where you may want to relax with a glass of wine and watch the day go by. This space is ideal for the sun worshipers as it boast the sun all day so you really can top up that tan.
The apartment is ideal for family holidays where you can relax and watch the children play on the sunroof again the communal swimming pool has restricted access and is a matter of seconds away. From the sunroof/solarium you are able to keep that watchful eye on the energetic enjoying themselves
In the highly unlikely event that the weather keeps you indoors or you choose to stay out of the sun for a few hours. The apartment has air-con in both bedrooms and the living area which has the cooling affect in the summer months and the warming affect for those chillier winter evenings. We have also supplied various board games to keep the children entertained, failing that there is English TV and movie channels or you can put on a DVD to keep them occupied.
It is advisable to hire a rental car to explore the area more. However we have agents who will transfer you from the airports and advise you of the local public transport. The local buses will take you into the thriving town of Torrevieja where you will find the Fun fair and promenade. There is a market held there every night of the week but can get really busy. There is also a casino and two Theatres in Torrevieja which have some fantastic shows. If you want to have a gamble in the Casino then make sure you take your passport for ID purposes. With regards to eating there is a wide choice of foods to eat in addition to British or Spanish food. There are Italian, Chinese and Indian Restaurants. If you consider yourself quite a varied eater then you have choices galore and the price of food and drink is far cheaper than UK prices. Most restaurants cater for the children and offer British menus so you shouldn’t have any concerns on feeding the kids. There are also large supermarkets in the vicinity of the apartment where you can stock on your home comforts, beer and local wines.
The apartment is situated in the Dream Hill II development Los Altos urbanisation located in the Orihuela Costa, south of Torrevieja. A 3 minute walk from the apartment will take you to the newest commercial centre Via Park V which is home to a variety of bars and restaurants offering entertainment. A further 5 minutes walk up the same road will lead you to Via Park III that has a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants that ideally cater for the ex-pat community and holiday makers who base themselves in the area. A further 5 minutes will take you to the Emerald Isle where there is live entertainment for the whole family where you can sing and dance the night away. There is also a small arcade for the kids very family orientated bar and restaurant.
Overall the area has a nice feel to it that is far different to a resort holiday that you may have experienced before. Dream Hills II is a mix of apartments and houses. A lot of the houses are owner occupied and apartments are used for holiday makers. However there is a very relaxed feel to the area and everyone is friendly which will make this a social enjoyable family holiday.
