This elegant neighbourhood is perfect for exploring all the city has to offer, and is right around the corner from the Opera and the Royal Palace. This is the ideal spot from which to set out on a night of tapas, going from bar to bar, getting the specialty and moving on, as is the custom. The nearby La Latina neighbourhood is especially lively for tapas hunting on Sunday morning after browsing Madrid’s weekly flea market, the Rastro.
